The recently concluded Grand Lodge of S. C. was well attended.

The new Grand Lodge officers for 2009-10 include: M. W. Brother Barry A. Rickman- Grand Master, R. W. Brother Jay A. Pearson, Deputy Grand Master, R. W. Brother David DeChant , Senior Grand Warden, and R. W. Brother William (Bill) Rogers Junior Grand Warden.

R. W. Brother Rogers was elected on the first ballot. He is a Past District Deputy of the 15th District in Easley, S. C. The new district deputy for the second district is R. W. Brother Thomas Blackwood. He is a past master of Fellowship # 400 in North Charleston and presently serves as their secretary. Worshipful Brother Dale Schumann, past master and present master of James Island #396 was also installed as Grand Steward.

The new masonic education committeeman for our area is R. W. Brother Noel Rogers, Jr. P.D.D.G.M. and the new masonic services association committeeman is R. W. Brother Richard (Dick) Hughes P. D. D. G. M. I will continue as District Deputy for the first masonic district for 2009-10.

Grand Lodge will be held in 2010 in Columbia, S. C. and will be held in Greenville in 2011 and Charleston again in 2012.
